The City of Aztec is seeking a Planning Director. Duties include managing/supervising the Planning Department and Code Enforcement, oversight of current and long range planning, land use and subdivision reviews and municipal code enforcement. A Bachelor’s degree in land use planning , public administration, or community development required. Three years administrative and supervisory experience. Salary is dependent on qualifications. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen and have a valid driver’s license. Benefits package includes vacation, sick leave, retirement and insurance.
