IDENTIFICATION TECHNICIAN
Performs technical work photographing, measuring and diagramming crime scenes, collecting and classifying evidence and latent prints, preparing detailed reports, operating Automated Fingerprint Identification System and IR8000 Breathalyzer in support of law enforcement activities. Equivalent to a high school diploma and two years’ experience in photography, digital and video camera operation, fingerprint classification, preferably in government or a law enforcement environment. WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR SENIOR
Maintains and operates plant equipment and processes related to wastewater and advanced water treatment systems on an assigned shift.  Associate degree in Water Technology or related field plus four years of experience in the operation of an advanced wastewater treatment facility. GAS CATHODIC PROTECTION TECHNICIAN SENIOR
Performs monitoring, installation and maintenance of gas cathodic protection systems and provides work direction to other crew members in order to maintain adequate cathodic protection of the City’s gas distribution system. Equivalent to a high school diploma plus four years of experience with low and high natural gas lines as part of natural gas construction and gas system cathodic protection. Valid driver’s license required. National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Certification required. New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license (ES-2J) required. Salary is $19.77 per hour. GAS CATHODIC PROTECTION TECHNICIAN
Performs monitoring, installation and maintenance of gas cathodic protection systems in order to maintain adequate cathodic protection. Equivalent to a high school diploma plus three years of experience as a construction worker in the installation and maintenance of natural gas systems. Valid driver’s license required. National Association of Corrosion Engineers Certification as a Cathodic Protection Tester must be obtained within three years of hire. New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license (EE-98 or JS-2) must be obtained within three years of hire. Salary is $19.59 per hour.
