The full-time Police Officers will be employed under a grant from the Department of Homeland Security & Emergency Management Grant Agreement, Grant Number: NM Safe Border 09-Columbus.   Qualifications include: 18 years or older; have a high school education or equivalent; be in good physical and mental health; must pass an oral interview and background check and be certified or certifiable within one year of hire.  Starting salary for certified officers is $15.25 an hour and up, depending on experience.  Send applications to Mayor Eddie S.
