The Town of Elida is accepting applications for Police Officer.  Qualifications include at least 21 years of age, a U.S. citizen, New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy certified, and must pass a background check, polygraph, physical exam, mental evaluation and oral interview. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave; level 5 PERA retirement program; health, dental, vision, and disability insurance; all uniforms and equipment furnished. Preference will be given to officer that will live in Elida.  Town-owned housing available and take-home car within Elida town limits. Starting pay is negotiable.
